The AMG Rosenbaum Pocket Vision Screener is a compact handheld card designed for convenient near-vision acuity assessment at a 35.6 cm (14 in) test distance.
Created by ophthalmologist Dr. J. George Rosenbaum for bedside vision testing after cataract surgery, the card allows clinicians to determine distance-equivalent visual acuity during near-vision testing.
Decreasing character sizes provide multiple visual acuity references, including Snellen-equivalent, Jaeger and point-size notations.
An integrated pupil gauge and measurement ruler add useful clinical functions, while black type on white vinyl provides clear contrast.
Its compact 16.5 × 8.9 cm (6.5 × 3.5 in) format fits easily into a pocket for convenient use during rounds, examinations and mobile care.
